Cable Run-In
Most Audiolund cables employ multi-core constructions with multiple conductor combinations, and therefore require an extended run-in period before reaching their intended performance.
OCC Silver conductors use relatively thick solid-core wire and typically require a longer run-in period than Duelund tinned copper, which uses multiple parallel thin strands.
General Run-In Guidelines

It was worth waiting! I did not expected such fantastic buiId quality neither the huge gauge of the cable.
I come from a very respected firm silver DC power cable and it is my first encounter with Duelund copper cable. Right out of the box I appreciate very much the exquisite natural timbre, soundstage width and depth. The deep base only seems a little less well controlled, but may be it needs more burn in.

My Xtreme DC cable (0.5 m) is terminated with a GX-16-4 connector at the source and a standard 2.1 plug at the other end in order to connect Farad Super 3 LPS with Uptone EtherRegen. Compared to the standard DC cable which comes with the Farad, the Xtreme is more relaxed, smoother, with a deeper and controlled bass. A nice upgrade. The only downside is because of the bulk of the cable and the heaviness of the connectors you need to take care to avoid any stress on the input of the light weight EtherRegen.
