Audiolund Ethernet Cable/RJ45 I2S Cable ~ Xtreme Silver Series
- Use 7 solid cores (24GA+26GA+28GA+29GA+29GA+32GA+32A) of 5N OCC silver wires mixed with 20GA Duelund tinned copper wires in TP1/TP2 +/-. Use 20GA Duelund tinned copper wires for TP3/TP4 +/- pins
- RJ45 100 Mb speed for the best audio quality and 1 Gb speed for PC connectivity, and other high-traffic-flow devices, such as the Roon Core processor
- It is an Ethernet cable/RJ45 I2S/IIS cable (built with RJ45 T-568B Standard), used to connect to Transport/DAC or Streamer/DAC, instead of SPDIF digital cable or AES balanced digital cable
- Use various types and multiple layers of shielding materials for shielding to reduce noise and RFI/EMI interference
- With unique damping design, use various types of anti-vibration/damping materials to suppress vibration and isolation

RJ45 I2S/IIS Cable:
If you want to use this RJ45 Ethernet Cable as a RJ45 I2S Cable, it is constructed as per Standard RJ45 T-568B Standard. For special I2S pinout configuration built with non T-4568B standard, please contact us.
RJ45 Ethernet cable specifications to use wires between 22 AWG to 28 AWG wires. The Xtreme Silver Series RJ45 Ethernet uses 7 solid cores (24GA+26GA+28GA+29GA+29GA+32GA+32A) of 5N OCC silver wires mixed with 20GA Duelund tinned copper wires, exceed the spec limit for Ethernet cable. It is OK for audio device applications for the best sounds, however, it is not recommended to use it on other non-audio applications.
We aim to have a balance and best sound with vintage Western Electric sound reproduced by Duelund Tinned Copper wires and modern Pure Silver sound reproduced by 5N OCC Silver wires. Xtreme Silver Series RJ45 Ethernet cable will have the best of both Duelund tinned copper wires and 5N OCC Silver wires with a very comprehensive sound, natural, smooth and musical with a quiet background. It also has the sweet, delicate, powerful and fast dynamic of pure silver sounds.
My Humble Comments: If you like both the Western Electric sounds and the Pure Silver sounds equally, mostly for musicality and tonality, Xtreme Silver Series RJ45 Ethernet Cable could be one of your best choices. My personal favorites are the Ultimate Silver series (built with 7* small solid cores OCC Silver wires) and the Flagship series (built with a mixture of Duelund tinned copper wires and 5N OCC silver wires). Alternatively for slightly cheaper in cost, the Xtreme Silver Series RJ45 Ethernet Cable.

RJ45 Ethernet Plugs Orientation
Audiolund cables are quite thick and stiff, although it could be bend easily, but could be hard to “twist” if the orientation of the plugs is not aligned properly. The standard orientation for RJ45 plug is as above, however, it is also depending on how you place your equipment, Top to Down, Left to Right or Right to Left ?

Cable Run-In: Audiolund cables are mostly multi-core design with various combinations of wires. Thus, all Audiolund cables will require a long time to run in. OCC Silver wires are thick solid core wires, will take even longer time to run in than Duelund tinned copper multi-strands of parallel thin core wires. The general guideline for run-in time, estimated 100 – 200 hours. Flagship series will need to run in more hours.
