- Enhanced Grounding Design: Each Live (L) and Neutral (N) conductor incorporates 17 solid-core 5N OCC silver conductors:

Conductor Options
1. OCC Silver Version
Uses 17 solid-core 5N OCC silver conductors:
15GA + 15GA + 18GA + 2 × 7 solid cores
(24GA + 26GA + 28GA + 29GA + 29GA + 32GA + 32GA)
These are combined with:
- 1 × 12GA Duelund tinned copper
- 1 × 20GA Duelund tinned copper
within both the Live (L) and Neutral (N) conductors.
2. Duelund Silver Foil Version
Uses:
- 2 × Duelund Silver Foil V1
- 2 × 7 solid-core 5N OCC silver conductors:
- 24GA + 26GA + 28GA + 29GA + 29GA + 32GA + 32GA
- 1 × 12GA Duelund tinned copper
- 1 × 20GA Duelund tinned copper
This configuration replaces the 2 × 15GA + 1 × 18GA OCC silver conductors of the OCC Silver Version with 2 × Duelund Silver Foil V1, while retaining the remaining OCC silver and Duelund tinned copper conductors.
OCC Silver vs. Duelund Silver Foil
Based on critical listening, the differences between the two versions are subtle.
The Duelund Silver Foil Version tends to present the midrange slightly more prominently, with greater vocal focus and a subtly warmer, more inviting presentation.
The OCC Silver Version tends to offer a slightly wider and deeper soundstage, together with a more organic presentation and subtly greater perceived detail.
These differences are relatively minor. Both versions deliver excellent midrange performance, soundstage presentation, and overall musical balance.
Both are classified within the same Ultimate Silver Series philosophy, combining pure silver conductors, either OCC silver or Duelund Silver Foil, with Duelund tinned copper. Their overall sonic character is therefore similar, blending the clarity and dynamics associated with pure silver with the musical qualities associated with the classic Duelund/Western Electric character.
The final choice comes down primarily to personal preference:
- Duelund Silver Foil: Slightly warmer and more prominent midrange
- OCC Silver: Slightly wider and deeper soundstage with subtly greater perceived detail

Xtreme Silver vs. Ultimate Silver
Both the Xtreme Silver Series and Ultimate Silver Series are designed to combine the sonic characteristics of Duelund/Western Electric conductors with those of modern pure silver.
While their differences are audible, both retain recognizable qualities from each conductor family and are therefore designed to integrate well with a wide variety of high-end audio systems.
If you enjoy both the classic Western Electric character and modern pure silver presentation, either series can be an excellent choice.
The Ultimate Silver Series places greater emphasis on modern pure silver characteristics. The addition of Duelund tinned copper helps introduce greater musicality while giving the overall presentation a smoother and more relaxed character.
For listeners seeking the resolution and dynamics of pure silver without sacrificing the musical qualities associated with Duelund/Western Electric conductors, the Ultimate Silver Series is highly recommended.
Xtreme Series vs. True Silver Series
The Xtreme Series emphasizes the classic Duelund/Western Electric character, with a presentation that is balanced, natural, neutral, relaxed, detailed, and musical.
The True Silver Series offers a distinctly modern silver presentation characterized by sweetness, delicacy, speed, powerful dynamics, tonal richness, and a full-bodied, organic character.
In simple terms:
- Xtreme Series: Classic vintage Western Electric character with an emphasis on naturalness and musicality
- True Silver Series: Modern pure silver character with an emphasis on clarity, tonal richness, speed, dynamics, and a full-bodied presentation
Neither presentation is inherently better. The choice depends largely on the listener’s system, musical preferences, and personal taste.
As a general listening preference, tube-based systems may pair particularly well with the Xtreme Series, while listeners using solid-state amplification may prefer the characteristics of the Silver Series. Final system matching, however, remains highly dependent on the individual components and listener preference.
The musicality of the Xtreme Series and the full-bodied, organic presentation of the True Silver Series inspired the development of Audiolund’s hybrid designs, including the Xtreme Silver Series and Ultimate Silver Series.
1) Default: Gold Foil + Black Stripe on Black Background
- Provides better wear resistance for the red copper and plastic decorative strips.
2) Silver Foil + Transparent Strip on Black Background
- The silver foil has lower wear resistance and should therefore be handled with greater care.
Cable Run-In
Most Audiolund cables use multi-core designs incorporating multiple conductor types and gauges. As a result, sufficient run-in time is recommended before making a final assessment of their sound.
The relatively thick solid-core OCC silver conductors may require a longer run-in period than Duelund tinned copper conductors, which use multiple parallel thin strands.
As a general guideline:
- Most Audiolund cables: approximately 100–200 hours
- Ultimate Silver Series: approximately 200–400 hours
The Ultimate Silver Series uses a particularly complex combination of multiple solid-core OCC silver conductors and Duelund tinned copper conductors and may therefore require additional run-in time before reaching a stable sonic presentation.
I have tried power cables of some very well known brands but the Ultimate Silver Series Power Cord connected from the mains to my power conditioner made a profound difference in the following ways
– After running of about 250 hrs the cables came into their own.
– the Bass was fighter, articulate and nuanced.
– the human voice was cleaner. In the mids there was more continuity.
– the soundstage became wider and instrumental separation much better.
– the hights were cleaner and crisper without sounding harsh.
I would recommend that first you change the cable connecting the mains to your power distributor as it will effect the sound of the entire system. Much better and permanent than a component upgrade.
Looking forward to changing all other cables to Audiolund cables over time.

Here’s my assessment of installing another Audiolund Design Ultimate Silver Power Edition cable into my HiFi stereo system.
On the double vinyl of Haydn’s music, the orchestral presence is fantastic, as is the cello soloist.
On an accordion and guitar CD, the instruments possess a very rich timbre. I particularly notice that the high end is even better articulated and more precise.
On the double vinyl of Benny Goodman, the bass is superb with a very beautiful, fast and precise presence.
With Piazzola and the Violons du Roy, the three-dimensional aspect takes on its full meaning.
With Dutoit and Prokofiev, the violin’s inflections are much more pronounced. In loud passages, the music maintains excellent control.
The differentiation of the instruments is even more precise, and they have more body and tonic richness, and their spatial definition is very precise and remarkable.
With Schubert, the piano is very distinct and well separated from the singing voices. This latest AC cable delivers an incredible level of performance. The symphonic bass drum sounds three times larger and well controlled.
Beethoven’s Piano Sonata is luminous; the soundstage is vast in height, width, and depth.
With the Ultimate Silver Power Edition plugged into the wall, I noticed a “Blaker Back Ground” and the piano notes were extremely precise in both the bass and treble.
Danny’s advice is most judicious. Danny is attentive to our needs, and the delivery service is fast.
Once again, adding an Audiolund Design cable to my HiFi stereo system allows the music to express itself in an incredible way. I wondered how listening to my music could be even better, and yes, the listening quality is truly enhanced; I didn’t expect such impactful results. I’ve been able to witness the musical evolution with each addition of a cable created by Danny, this highly talented hi-fi audio connector specialist.
The Audiolund Design cables have, and will provided me with several minutes of pure musical bliss.
Note, that it’s important to let them mature for a few hours to fully unfold their exceptional qualities.

Adding the “Power Edition Ultimate Silver” gives even more soundstage, precision and easy extracting the music.
You will be very surprised to see how the addition of Audiolund Design cables will bring a new musical dimension to your favorite music.
With the Power Edition Ultimate Silver, it is disconcerting to see how the musical realism is increased to another level, as if a 3D dimension is added to a presence that was already palpable. It is quite incredible the improvements that the latter brings.
It is always fascinating to see that with each addition of an Audiolund Design cable the increase in the performance of my sound system.
By giving a superb presence to the percussions, details and musical depth, it is a Must. They offer one of the most beautiful musical presences, because everything stands out equally, without forcing, the violins have such a presence and this, even in very soft passages, because everything stands out easily with richness and in a superb balance. The percussions, like bells are so real.

At first, my first test with the Ultimate Silver Power Edition turned out, as a best result, installed on my Audiolab CDT 6000, which I would never have thought that this combination would be the best.
After a few weeks, I decided to install it in the very place for which it was designed, that is to say on my Power Bar. And there wow! Much more musical refinement, a better soundstage, a beautiful well-centered depth and a more marked stereo effect.
Once again, here I can distinguish new percussion instruments, previously hidden. The palette of the timbres of the instruments is even richer, the musical balance of the instruments is increased, each instrument is well in its place, their presences more distinct by being more precise and cut.
As for the bass, it is not too invasive, it harmonizes very well with the other instruments without overwhelming them, and it goes even lower and with great clarity.
As you mentioned, the Ultimate Silver Power Edition needed a longer break-in period.

Following the addition of a new Ultimate Silver power cord, the sound refinement and great musicality are what impresses. The discovery of an extraordinary sound atmosphere, and the musical details that are recorded that light up and are highlighted with great ease, the micro-information is easier to bring out.
The timbres are even richer, and the bass more present, well chiseled and descends deeper and with greater control.
The stereo separation is more marked, and the sound depth allows us to discover a most remarkable musical facet.
The combination of refinement, dynamism and precision offers a most convincing listening experience, and with a greater sound openness, due to the musical transparency that has really increased, transmitting more mystery and emotions. Our attention is focused on a rediscovery of the impact and the implication that each of the instruments has to make us vibrate more. The three-dimensional space is palpable and the soundstage more airy.

At first glance, take into consideration that what powers your HiFi-audio system is thanks to the quality of the electrical current which passes through all of your HiFi components. From the start the Ultimate Silver Series cable announces its remarkable qualities, but wait after 100 hours, because at first it was like a rising sun over the sea, but later it rises to the zenith to amaze you and the ears. With the Ultimate Silver Series cable, you will see the true capabilities of your audio devices, the improvement in soundstage and musical depth, the sound image is grandiose, the soundstage is more open and better articulated, a musical livery all in precision and finesse, and great transparency. It will be difficult for you not to stay glued to your chair, you will have immense pleasure listening to your music again. The new musical presentation is absolutely incredible. For example: The low notes of the piano are really superb and they impress. The instruments have a timbre of great purity. As a music lover, I have been intensively involved with the HiFi topic for 33 years.
On this trip I tried out a lot of cables, some of which were excellent and extremely expensive, in order to optimize my system.
I discovered Audiolund by chance and tried them out: These Audiolund cables are the most balanced in my system so far, they can easily hold their own against all other products on the cable market that are many times more expensive (with dubious prices!).
The entire cabling of my HiFi system now consists almost exclusively of the Extreme Silver and Ultimate Silver Series and I am more than very happy with it.

I ordered one power cable 1.5 m Ultimate Series with Duelund Silver Foil and Viborg VE504Ag/VF504Ag pure silver schuko/IEC plugs Special Edition to connect to my power distributor and now there is clearer, great soundstage, perfect detail and musicality and with more working hours it still will sound better.
