Description
Designed and handcrafted using carefully selected combinations of 5N OCC silver conductors, each cable is meticulously fine-tuned to achieve exceptional sound quality while minimizing signal transmission loss.
Audiolund Power cord ~ True Silver Series
Construction & Specifications
- Enhanced grounding design: Uses specially selected, European-made 5N OCC silver conductors.
- Multi-gauge conductor architecture: 19 solid cores per signal path, comprising 2 × 15GA + 3 × 21GA + 2 × (7 conductors from 24GA to 32GA) of 5N OCC silver for both Live (L) and Neutral (N), plus 1 × 14GA silver-plated conductor for Ground (G).
- A 1.5 m power cord uses approximately 6 m × 19 solid cores of 5N OCC silver conductors, plus approximately 3 m of silver-plated copper conductors for grounding.
- Multiple types and layers of shielding materials are incorporated to help reduce noise and RFI/EMI interference.
- A dedicated damping architecture uses multiple anti-vibration and damping materials to improve mechanical isolation and suppress unwanted vibration.
- Standard length: 1.5 m, with additional lengths available.
- Plug upgrade options: Various Viborg power plugs are available. Viborg VM504Ag/VF504Ag Pure Solid Silver US plugs are recommended.

Two Conductor Configurations
1) All OCC Silver Version: 19 solid cores: [2 × 15 + 1 × (21 + 21 + 21) + 2 × (24 + 26 + 28 + 29 + 29 + 32 + 32)]GA of 5N OCC silver conductors.
2) Duelund Silver Foil Version: 2 × Duelund Silver Foil V1 + 17 solid cores: [21 + 21 + 21 + 2 × (24 + 26 + 28 + 29 + 29 + 32 + 32)]GA of 5N OCC silver conductors.
Customers may select either the full OCC silver configuration or replace the 2 × 15GA 5N OCC silver conductors with 2 × Duelund Silver Foil V1, while retaining all other OCC silver conductors.
Based on critical listening, incorporating Duelund Silver Foil into the same cable design appears to bring the midrange slightly forward, with greater focus and a subtly warmer, more pleasing vocal presentation. In comparison, the all-OCC silver version appears to offer a slightly wider and deeper soundstage, together with a more organic presentation and subtly greater detail.
These differences, however, are relatively minor. In our assessment, both versions deliver equally accomplished midrange performance and soundstage presentation.
Both configurations are therefore classified within the True Silver Series, as both predominantly use OCC silver conductors and share the characteristic sonic qualities associated with our pure-silver designs: organic, fast, dynamic, refined, and highly resolving.
The choice ultimately comes down to personal preference: a slightly warmer and more prominent midrange with Duelund Silver Foil, or a slightly wider and deeper soundstage with the all-OCC silver configuration.
Special Edition for Higher Power
All OCC Silver Version Only
- Uses 3 × 15GA solid-core OCC silver + 2 × 16GA (3 × 0.7 mm) + 2 × 7 solid-core 24GA–32GA OCC silver conductors in multiple combinations for both Live (L) and Neutral (N), plus 2 × 15GA silver-plated copper conductors for Ground (G).
- The estimated conductor cross-sectional area per Live/Neutral channel is approximately 5.91 mm² for the standard True Silver power cord and 8.87 mm² for the High Power Edition.
- In general, the standard True Silver Series is better suited to front-end components and preamplifiers. For high-power amplifiers, main power distributors, or power extensions, we highly recommend considering the High Power Edition.
True Silver Series Sound Character
The True Silver Series power cord employs multiple solid-core 5N OCC silver conductors ranging from 15GA to 32GA per signal path, carefully combined to achieve the intended performance of a solid-silver power cable.
The True Silver Series establishes a distinctive interpretation of pure-silver sound, delivering a presentation that is sweet, delicate, powerful, fast, and dynamic, complemented by a stronger tonal presence, subtle warmth, and a rich, full-bodied texture.

Selecting the Right Audiolund Series
For simplified product selection:
- Xtreme Series – For enthusiasts who prefer the classic vintage Duelund/Western Electric sonic character.
- True Silver Series – For listeners seeking the purity, speed, and transparency of modern 5N OCC Silver.
- Xtreme Silver Series – For those who enjoy the Duelund/Western Electric signature with additional silver-derived refinement and detail.
- Ultimate Silver Series – For listeners who favor silver performance while retaining elements of the classic Duelund character.
- Flagship Series – For those seeking an equal balance of both sonic signatures.
Our Personal Listening Perspective
The Xtreme Series has a strong Western Electric-inspired sonic character, with a presentation that is balanced, natural, neutral, relaxed, and musical.
The True Silver Series, by comparison, offers a sweet and delicate yet powerful presentation, with fast dynamics and the distinctive qualities of a modern silver design. It provides a stronger tonal presence, subtle warmth, and a richer, more full-bodied texture.
In simple terms, the Xtreme Series represents our interpretation of the classic vintage Western Electric sound, while the True Silver Series represents our interpretation of modern pure-silver performance.
In our listening experience, neither approach is inherently superior. Both offer equally high levels of performance, and the preferred choice ultimately depends on individual system matching, listening preferences, and musical taste.
Listeners using tube amplification may find the relaxed and musical presentation of the Xtreme Series particularly complementary, while those using solid-state amplification may prefer the speed, body, dynamics, and resolution of the True Silver Series.
For us, the outstanding quality of the Xtreme Series is its musicality, while the True Silver Series excels in delivering an organic, full-bodied sound.
This philosophy ultimately led to the development of our hybrid designs, including the Xtreme Silver Series and Ultimate Silver Series, which combine selected qualities of both sonic approaches.

1) Default: White Stripe + Transparent Stripe on White Background
- Better wear resistance
- Recommended and default option

2) Silver Foil + Transparent Stripe on White Background
- Distinctive silver appearance
- Silver foil has lower wear resistance and should be handled with additional care
Cable Run-In
Audiolund cables primarily use multi-core constructions with carefully selected combinations of conductors. As a result, they generally require an extended run-in period to reach their intended performance.
The thicker solid-core OCC silver conductors used in the True Silver Series typically require a longer run-in period than the parallel, fine-stranded Duelund tinned-copper conductors used in other Audiolund designs.
As a general guideline, we recommend approximately 100 to 200 hours of run-in.

ordered the True Silver Series ~ Power Cord, this is my second product from Audiolund/danny. this power cord is currently hooked up directly to my esoteric amp. (no distributor or power conditioner)
its brings out the true potential of a high current amp delivering dynamics in the highs, mids and lows. despite have silver properties, there were not fatigue in listening.
highly recommended for audiophile fans. Outstanding hand made product made in Singapore.
Cheers to Danny.
