1. All OCC Silver Version
Uses 11 solid-core conductors: 15GA + 21GA + 21GA + 21GA + 24GA + 26GA + 28GA + 29GA + 29GA + 32GA + 32GA
All conductors are 5N OCC Silver.
2. Duelund Silver Foil Version
Uses Duelund Silver Foil V1 together with 5N OCC Silver solid-core conductors.
In this configuration, the 15GA 5N OCC Silver conductor is replaced by Duelund Silver Foil V1, while the remaining OCC Silver conductors are retained.
Sonic Differences Between the Two Versions
Based on critical listening, adding Duelund Silver Foil V1 introduces a subtle enhancement to the midrange, with slightly greater presence, focus, and warmth, particularly in vocals.
The All OCC Silver version, by comparison, offers a slightly wider and deeper soundstage, with a more organic presentation and marginally greater detail.
However, these differences are subtle rather than significant. Both versions deliver excellent midrange performance and soundstage presentation.
Both are therefore classified within the True Silver Series, as OCC Silver remains fundamental to their construction and both share the key sonic characteristics associated with Audiolund’s pure-silver designs: organic, fast, detailed, and dynamic.
The choice ultimately comes down to personal preference:
- Duelund Silver Foil Version: Slightly warmer and more focused midrange.
- All OCC Silver Version: Slightly wider and deeper soundstage with marginally greater detail.
RCA Plug Selection
The Audiolund True Silver Series RCA Interconnect uses 11 solid-core 5N OCC Silver conductors ranging from 15GA to 32GA per signal path.
The choice of RCA plug can further fine-tune the cable’s sonic presentation:

My Personal Listening Perspective
The Xtreme Series has a stronger Western Electric-inspired character, with a presentation that is balanced, natural, neutral, relaxed, and musical.
The True Silver Series represents a more modern silver sound, with a sweet yet powerful presentation, fast dynamics, stronger tonal presence, subtle warmth, and a rich, full-bodied texture.
Personally, I have always enjoyed the relaxed musicality of the Duelund/Western Electric approach, while the True Silver Series excels in its full-bodied, organic, and dynamic presentation.
In simple terms:
- Xtreme Series: Classic vintage Western Electric-inspired sound, with musicality as its greatest strength.
- True Silver Series: Modern pure-silver sound, distinguished by its full-bodied, organic character and fast dynamics.
In my view, neither is inherently better than the other. Both offer equally compelling performance but with different sonic personalities. The ideal choice depends on personal preference, system characteristics, and listening priorities.
As a general system-matching consideration, listeners using tube amplification may naturally gravitate toward the relaxed musical character of the Xtreme Series, while those using solid-state amplification may prefer the speed, definition, and dynamic presentation of the True Silver Series. Ultimately, this remains a matter of individual system synergy and personal taste.
It was precisely these complementary strengths that inspired Audiolund to develop hybrid designs such as the Xtreme Silver Series and Ultra Silver Series, combining selected characteristics of both conductor philosophies.

- Silver foil has lower wear resistance and should be handled with additional care
Cable Run-In
Audiolund cables primarily use multi-core constructions with carefully selected combinations of conductors. As a result, they generally require an extended run-in period to reach their intended performance.
The thicker solid-core OCC silver conductors used in the True Silver Series typically require a longer run-in period than the parallel, fine-stranded Duelund tinned-copper conductors used in other Audiolund designs.
As a general guideline, we recommend approximately 100 to 200 hours of run-in.
I heard a slight difference compared to my previous highend cable from Aktyna. Time will tell how much it will be at the end since it will take many hours…
Excellent RCA cable with a very good price/performance ratio – the music reproduction is expressed in an airy, very spatial, detailed representation. The bass is dry and powerful, the mids are expressive with “bright” tones and the highs are very detailed without seeming analytical. I can definitely recommend this cable – it is worth every cent !
