- Multi-core conductor design: 8 solid-core 5N OCC silver conductors per positive and negative path: 15AWG + 24AWG + 26AWG + 28AWG + 29AWG + 29AWG + 32AWG + 32AWG
- Multi-layer shielding: Multiple types and layers of shielding materials are used to help reduce noise and RFI/EMI interference.
- Advanced damping: A combination of anti-vibration and damping materials helps control mechanical resonance and improve isolation.

Conductor Options
1. Full OCC Silver Version:
Eight solid-core 5N OCC silver conductors: 15AWG + 24AWG + 26AWG + 28AWG + 29AWG + 29AWG + 32AWG + 32AWG
2. Duelund Silver Foil Version:
Duelund Silver Foil V1 replaces the 15AWG OCC silver conductor, while the remaining conductors continue to use 5N OCC silver: Duelund Silver Foil V1 + 24AWG + 26AWG + 28AWG + 29AWG + 29AWG + 32AWG + 32AWG
Both configurations belong to the True Silver Series, with the choice primarily determined by your preferred sonic presentation.
Sonic Differences
Based on critical listening, the differences between the two versions are subtle:
- Duelund Silver Foil Version: Slightly more prominent and expressive midrange, with greater vocal focus and a subtly warmer presentation.
- Full OCC Silver Version: Slightly wider and deeper soundstage, with a more organic presentation and subtly greater detail retrieval.
These differences are relatively minor, and both versions offer excellent midrange performance, spacious imaging, and the characteristic qualities Audiolund associates with its pure-silver designs.
Audiolund’s Perspective
Both configurations are classified within the True Silver Series, as both are fundamentally based on OCC silver conductors and share a similar overall sonic signature.
Both deliver an organic, fast, dynamic, and highly resolving presentation. The choice ultimately comes down to personal preference:
- Choose the Duelund Silver Foil Version if you prefer a slightly warmer and more prominent midrange.
- Choose the Full OCC Silver Version if you prefer a slightly wider and deeper soundstage with subtly greater detail.
The True Silver Series DC Power Cord is designed to offer a distinctive pure-silver presentation, combining sweetness and delicacy with speed, dynamics, tonal richness, and a full-bodied, organic character.

- Flagship Series – For those seeking an equal balance of both sonic signatures.
1) Default: White Stripe + Transparent Stripe on White Background

- Distinctive silver appearance
- Silver foil has lower wear resistance and should be handled with additional care
Cable Run-In
Audiolund cables primarily use multi-core constructions with carefully selected combinations of conductors. As a result, they generally require an extended run-in period to reach their intended performance.
The thicker solid-core OCC silver conductors used in the True Silver Series typically require a longer run-in period than the parallel, fine-stranded Duelund tinned-copper conductors used in other Audiolund designs.
As a general guideline, we recommend approximately 100 to 200 hours of run-in.

Bought this to try against the Plixir statement (which is a very capable DC cable) for the Plixir elite LPS powering the chord M scaler. I am quite impressed with the performance of the Audiolund True Silver Series DC cable. Sound is more relaxed and fuller. It’s a significant improvement to the performance of the M scaler. Highly recommended and I have replaced all my DC cables with Audiolunds True Silver Series.
