- Utilizes 7 solid-core 5N OCC Silver conductors (24AWG + 26AWG + 28AWG + 29AWG + 29AWG + 32AWG + 32AWG) combined with 16AWG Duelund Tinned Copper conductors for TP1/TP2 ± pairs. TP3/TP4 ± pairs are constructed using the same 7-core 5N OCC Silver configuration.
- Built with high-quality RJ45 connectors and verified to comply with the RJ45 T-568B wiring standard.
- Supports both audio and network applications through a full 8-wire design. While 100Mbps bandwidth is sufficient for audio-focused applications such as internal network switches, 1Gbps bandwidth is recommended for high-traffic network devices such as Roon Core servers and music streaming services including TIDAL, Spotify, Qobuz, and Apple Music.
- Designed as an Ethernet Cable / RJ45 I2S (IIS) Cable using the RJ45 T-568B standard, suitable for connections between transports, streamers, and DACs as an alternative to SPDIF or AES/EBU digital interconnects.
- Employs multiple layers and types of shielding materials to minimize noise and reduce RFI/EMI interference.
- Features a proprietary damping architecture utilizing various anti-vibration and isolation materials to suppress unwanted resonance.

RJ45 I2S / IIS Compatibility
When used as an RJ45 I2S cable, the Flagship Series is wired according to the standard RJ45 T-568B configuration.

Design Philosophy
Standard Ethernet cable specifications typically recommend conductor sizes between 22AWG and 28AWG. The Flagship Series exceeds these conventional specifications by utilizing a combination of 7 solid-core 5N OCC Silver conductors together with 16AWG Duelund Tinned Copper conductors.
While this design is optimized specifically for high-end audio applications, it is not intended for general-purpose networking environments.
Our objective was to combine the renowned musicality and tonal richness associated with vintage Western Electric-inspired sound, represented by Duelund Tinned Copper, with the speed, transparency, and resolution of 5N OCC Silver conductors.
The result is a highly balanced presentation that offers:

Relationship to Other Audiolund Series
The Flagship Series combines technologies derived from both the Xtreme Series and Ultimate Silver Series.
It integrates the musical character of Duelund Tinned Copper with the technical advantages of the Ultimate Silver design, which utilizes seven carefully selected OCC Silver conductors. As a result, we consider the Flagship Series and Ultimate Silver Series to represent the pinnacle of Audiolund RJ45 cable design.
Listening Guidance
- Choose the Flagship Series if you appreciate both the tonal richness of Western Electric-inspired sound and the speed and precision of pure silver conductors.
- Choose the Ultimate Silver Series if your preference is for the fully organic, highly transparent, and exceptionally dynamic presentation of pure 5N OCC Silver.
From our experience, both series represent the finest expression of Audiolund RJ45 cable design and are highly recommended for state-of-the-art audio systems.

RJ45 Ethernet Plugs Orientation
Due to their advanced multi-layer construction, Audiolund cables are relatively thick and rigid. While they remain flexible for routing, twisting the cable may be more difficult if connector orientation is not properly matched to your equipment layout.
The standard RJ45 connector orientation is typically suitable for most installations; however, optimal orientation may vary depending on whether your equipment is positioned:
- Top-to-bottom
- Left-to-right
- Right-to-left
To ensure the best fit, please provide a rear-view photograph of your equipment showing the RJ45 ports before ordering.
Cable Run-In
Most Audiolund cables utilize complex multi-core conductor architectures and therefore require an extended burn-in period to achieve optimal performance.
The solid-core 5N OCC silver conductors used in the Flagship Series generally require longer run-in times than Duelund’s multi-strand tinned copper conductors.
Recommended Run-In Period
- General Audiolund cables: 100-200 hours
- Flagship Series: 200-400 hours
Actual run-in time may vary depending on system configuration, listening conditions, and usage patterns.
