Designed and handcrafted using carefully selected combinations of Duelund Tinned Copper conductors, the Xtreme Series is meticulously fine-tuned to maximize sound quality while minimizing signal transmission loss.
Audiolund Power cord ~ Xtreme Series
- Enhanced grounding design: Uses 2 × 12GA + 2 × 16GA + 2 × 20GA Duelund Tinned Copper conductors in both Live (L) and Neutral (N), together with 1 × 14GA ground wire.
- For a 1.5-meter power cord, a total of 6m × 12GA + 6m × 16GA + 6m × 20GA Duelund Tinned Copper wire is used, together with 3m of 14GA silver-plated copper wire for Ground (G).
- Multiple types and layers of shielding materials help minimize noise and RFI/EMI interference.
- A unique damping design incorporates multiple anti-vibration and damping materials to help suppress and isolate vibration.
- Standard length: 1.5m, with other lengths available.
- Upgrade options: Various Viborg power plugs, including Viborg VM504Ag/VF504Ag Pure Solid Silver US Plugs (recommended).
Special Edition for High Power

- For a 1.5-meter power cord, a total of 9m × 12GA + 9m × 20GA Duelund Tinned Copper wire is used, together with 6m of silver-plated copper ground wire.

- The standard Xtreme Series has an estimated conductor cross-sectional area of 10.27 mm² per +/- channel per meter, while the High Power Edition increases this to approximately 11.48 mm², based on the Duelund Copper conductors.

Cable Run-In
Most Audiolund cables employ multi-core constructions with multiple conductor combinations, and therefore require an extended run-in period before reaching their intended performance.
OCC Silver conductors use relatively thick solid-core wire and typically require a longer run-in period than Duelund tinned copper, which uses multiple parallel thin strands.
General Run-In Guidelines
- Most Audiolund cables: approximately 100–200 hours
- Xtreme Series: approximately 200–400 hours
These figures should be regarded as general guidelines, as actual run-in time may vary depending on the cable design, system, and usage conditions.
The first one I bought was meant for my pontus 15. I was so impressed by it that I bought another one for hermes 15. Since they are made for each other, I thought I can’t go wrong by using same model of same brand. Indeed I made the right decision. Digital glare is completely absent while retaining same warmth and analog sound and bass is a bit softer.
I didn’t expect this cable to sound so good when it was only less than 1 hr of burn in process. The tonality is so dense and warm that it totally beats my current SR cable to death. It doesn’t sacrifice high frequencies when warmth is increased. On the contrary, I can hear more details than before. I believe it will improve more as burn in progresses
This is my third purchase. Bought Xtreme series for Speaker cables, XLR and now power cord. They are excellent value. They produce rich and dynamic sounds. Very smooth and musical. I am now considering buying their Ethernet cables. Dan is very helpful and knowledgeable in this field.

Took almost 2 weeks of continuous run-in to bring out the goodness of the cables, my patience paid off tremendously. If you know and enjoy Duelund cable signature, Audiolund cables are definitely for you, tonality and balance were spot-on in my system. As I understand, Danny’s cable recipes had gone through numerous iterations to arrive at where they are today. I use the True Silver series cables for all my digital, and Extreme Series for all my analogue needs. They are amazing once the cables started to settle in, just letting the music and emotions to flow through. Extreme Silver series will be next for me, hoping to taste the cherry on top of the cake with the selective use of OCC Silver cables. Truly artisanal products from an amazingly talented and humble craftsman.
