Construction & Specifications
- Conductors: 4 × 24 AWG (0.5 mm) 5N OCC silver wires, used for both positive and negative data transmission as well as power supply.
- Consistent conductor design: All True Silver Lite Series USB configurations, including Type A, Type B, and Type C, use the same 4 × 24 AWG 5N OCC silver conductor architecture.
- Multi-layer shielding: Multiple types and layers of shielding materials are employed to minimize noise and RFI/EMI interference.
- Advanced damping: A proprietary damping design incorporates multiple anti-vibration and damping materials to suppress and isolate unwanted mechanical vibration.
- Standard length: 1.0 m, with other lengths available upon request.

Testing & Compatibility
Rather than relying solely on precision impedance measurement equipment, Audiolund USB cables are extensively tested and evaluated across several high-end digital audio systems using various combinations of streamers, transports, and DACs.
Across these systems, the cables have operated reliably without observed signal errors and have demonstrated performance comparable to established high-end USB cables. Based on these evaluations and compatibility testing, the cable design is intended to support the 90-ohm USB differential impedance specification.
To date, Audiolund USB cables have performed reliably across a wide range of audiophile systems and equipment configurations.

Cable Run-In
Audiolund cables primarily use multi-core constructions with carefully selected combinations of conductors. As a result, they generally require an extended run-in period to reach their intended performance.
The thicker solid-core OCC silver conductors used in the True Silver Series typically require a longer run-in period than the parallel, fine-stranded Duelund tinned-copper conductors used in other Audiolund designs.
As a general guideline, we recommend approximately 100 to 200 hours of run-in.
