75-Ohm Compatibility & System Testing
While we do not use precision impedance-measurement equipment to certify the cable, the True Silver Series SPDIF Coaxial Digital Cable has been tested and verified across several high-end transport/DAC systems without signal errors. In our listening and system tests, it has performed consistently and competitively alongside established 75-ohm SPDIF coaxial cables.
Based on these results, the cable is designed for 75-ohm SPDIF applications and optimized to complement a wide range of high-end digital audio systems.

Cable Run-In
Audiolund cables primarily use multi-core constructions with carefully selected combinations of conductors. As a result, they generally require an extended run-in period to reach their intended performance.
The thicker solid-core OCC silver conductors used in the True Silver Series typically require a longer run-in period than the parallel, fine-stranded Duelund tinned-copper conductors used in other Audiolund designs.
As a general guideline, we recommend approximately 100 to 200 hours of run-in.
Took almost 2 weeks of continuous run-in to bring out the goodness of the cables, my patience paid off tremendously. If you know and enjoy Duelund cable signature, Audiolund cables are definitely for you, tonality and balance were spot-on in my system. As I understand, Danny’s cable recipes had gone through numerous iterations to arrive at where they are today. I use the True Silver series cables for all my digital, and Extreme Series for all my analogue needs. They are amazing once the cables started to settle in, just letting the music and emotions to flow through. Extreme Silver series will be next for me, hoping to taste the cherry on top of the cake with the selective use of OCC Silver cables. Truly artisanal products from an amazingly talented and humble craftsman.
