- All Ethernet cables are constructed with the full eight-conductor configuration to support both audio and network applications.
- Incorporates multiple types and layers of shielding materials to reduce RFI/EMI interference and noise.
- Features a proprietary damping design using multiple anti-vibration and isolation materials to help suppress mechanically induced vibration.

RJ45 I2S/IIS Cable:
When used as an RJ45 I2S/IIS cable, the standard configuration follows the RJ45 T-568B wiring standard.
For equipment requiring a proprietary or non-T-568B I2S pin configuration, please contact us before ordering.

Important Note on 20 AWG Construction
Typical RJ45 Ethernet cable specifications use conductors in the 22 AWG to 28 AWG range. The Signature Series uses larger 20 AWG Duelund conductors, which fall outside this conventional range.
This design is specifically intended for high-end audio applications, where sound quality is the primary consideration. For this reason, we do not recommend the Signature Series for general-purpose, non-audio Ethernet applications.
Signature Series Sound Characteristics
The Signature Series shares the fundamental sonic characteristics of the Reference Series, while incorporating a higher grade of Duelund conductors to further enhance the overall musical presentation.
It is designed to deliver a natural, balanced, harmonious, and engaging presentation, allowing melodies, tonal textures, and musical flow to emerge with greater ease and refinement.

RJ45 Ethernet Plugs Orientation
Audiolund cables feature a substantial, robust construction. While they can be bent for installation, their construction makes twisting more difficult. Correct RJ45 connector orientation is therefore important for easier installation and to minimize unnecessary torsional stress on the cable and connectors.
RJ45 connectors are supplied in our standard orientation. However, the optimal orientation may vary depending on the placement and configuration of your equipment, for example:
- Top to bottom
- Left to right
- Right to left
To ensure the most suitable RJ45 connector orientation for your system, please provide a clear photo of the rear of your equipment showing the RJ45 connection points when placing your order.
Cable Run-In
Audiolund cables primarily use multi-core constructions with various conductor combinations and therefore require an extended run-in period to reach their optimal performance.
OCC silver conductors, particularly thicker solid-core designs, generally require a longer run-in period than Duelund tinned copper conductors, which use multiple thin strands in parallel.
As a general guideline, the recommended run-in period is approximately 100–200 hours.
