Design & Construction
- Premium 5N OCC silver conductors, specially selected and imported from Europe.
- 4 × 18 AWG (1.0 mm) 5N OCC silver conductors for both the positive/negative data lines and +5V/ground power lines.
- Multiple types and layers of shielding materials help minimize noise and RFI/EMI interference.
- A unique damping structure combines multiple anti-vibration and damping materials to suppress and isolate mechanical vibration.
- Standard length: 1.0 m, with other lengths available upon request.
- Available as either a Standard USB Cable or Dual-Headed USB Cable.
Standard USB Version
1 × USB-A + 1 × USB-B, without a separate 5V DC power connection.
Dual-Headed USB Version
2 × USB-A + 1 × USB-B, designed to support a separate 5V DC power supply.

Many conventional USB cables use conductors ranging from 20 AWG to 28 AWG. The True Silver Series USB Cable uses substantially larger 18 AWG conductors and is purpose-designed specifically for high-end digital audio applications.
Due to its specialized construction, the True Silver Series is intended for use with audio components such as streamers, media players, digital-to-digital converters (DDCs), and DACs. It is not recommended for general-purpose networking or computing applications.
Testing & Verification
Audiolund does not claim laboratory-certified USB impedance measurements. Instead, each USB cable series is extensively evaluated and verified across several high-end digital audio systems using various combinations of streamers, transports, and DACs.
During our evaluations, the cables have operated reliably without observed signal errors and have demonstrated performance competitive with established high-end USB cables. Based on this practical system testing, the design has proven compatible with the intended USB audio applications.
The True Silver Series has also been successfully used across a variety of audiophile systems, components, and configurations.

USB A-B Plugs Orientation
Audiolund cables feature a relatively thick and substantial construction. While the cable can be bent for installation, its construction makes twisting more difficult. Correct connector orientation is therefore important for easier installation and to minimize unnecessary torsional stress on the cable and connectors.
The USB A-B connectors are supplied in our standard orientation. However, the ideal orientation may vary depending on the placement and configuration of your equipment, for example:
- Top to bottom
- Left to right
- Right to left
To ensure the correct connector orientation for your system, please provide a clear photo of the rear of your equipment showing the USB A-B connection points when placing your order.
Cable Run-In
Audiolund cables primarily use multi-core constructions with carefully selected combinations of conductors. As a result, they generally require an extended run-in period to reach their intended performance.
The thicker solid-core OCC silver conductors used in the True Silver Series typically require a longer run-in period than the parallel, fine-stranded Duelund tinned-copper conductors used in other Audiolund designs.
As a general guideline, we recommend approximately 100 to 200 hours of run-in.
It is my 2nd usb from the company. Even without burn in, as soon as I plug it in, my system sounds cleaner, clearer, airier. What you should expect: USB burn in is very slow, most likely the slowest burn in cable because the current goes through it is very small. Silver also burns in much slower than copper. Music goes from ‘losing base impact and loudness’ to ‘dull with base slowly return’ for the last few days. Today is the 5th day I have it, 12h music/streaming most day, I think the cable is at the stage that loudness and base are returned mostly and it’s more stable and only gets better from here. It’ll be months till it’s truly burn in but my system already sounds so much better: dynamic, air, clear, base slam, attack, sound stage definition & space. I’m slowly upgrading my system, will come back for more. True silver for faster attack and ultimate silver for more “juicy punch”. Audiolund cables sound really amazing and very quiet always. Highly recommend!
