DC Power Cord Reference Series is designed for unique application and while still maintain the same Duelund WE typical sound characteristic. It has an excellent sound performance and it worth your special audition for this audiophile DC Power Cord.
My humble suggestion: DC Power Cord Reference Series has the same Duelund-Western Electric typical sound characteristic. If you like the Duelund-Western Electric typical sound, then you should audition this cable as one of your top choice. Disclaimer: All the Hi-Fi setup different in term of Equipment/Speaker/Room/Accessories etc. so, you may get different results in different setup. The above suggestion is only for your reading reference only.
Cable Run-In: Audiolund cables are mostly multi-core design with various combinations of wires. Thus, all Audiolund cables will require a long time to run in. OCC Silver wires are thick solid core wires, will take even longer time to run in than Duelund tinned copper multi-strands of parallel thin core wires. The general guideline for run-in time, estimated 100 – 200 hours.
Fantastic sounding – dark background, greater clarity and sonic articulation and definition.
Need at leat 20 hours to shine. Excellent full bodied sound with nice imaging. sounds organic and natural.
Cable maker took the time to source out the best components for my custom job over simply buying some cheap parts from simile of questionable sonic quality. The DC cable (from my LPS to my Qutest) was a marked improvement over my current after-market cable made using canare cable. It sounds as if a veil was removed from the sound stage allowing for better articulation of the music and instruments.
