Audiolund Interconnect Cable, RCA ~ Xtreme Series
– Use 12GA + 16GA + 20GA Duelund tinned copper wire in both the positive signal and negative signal of multiple wire combinations
– A total of 4m*12GA + 4m*16GA + 4m*20GA Duelund tinned copper wire are used for 1.0 meter pair
– Use various types and multiple layers of shielding materials for shielding to reduce noise and RFI/EMI interference

RCA plug with gold plated sound slightly warmer and Rhodium plated sound better in highs. As for the Pure Silver RCA plug, it adds more air, seem sound more details to reach another category. Selection of a plug is a personal preference and is a skill of arts with personal taste. Selection should be varied with different audiophile system setup. Note that this observation is based on critical listening on a balance system setup. Although the differences are noticeable, but it is not as significant as compared to different series of cables/wires.

Audiolund RCA Xtreme series has a very comprehensive and almost perfect sound, with a very strong sound characteristic of Western Electric. - If you like vintage Duelund Western Electric sound, can select Xtreme series
- If you like modern 5N pure silver sound, can select True Silver series
- If you like Duelund Western Electric sound, but would like to add pure silver sound characteristic too, can select Xtreme Silver series
- If you like 5N pure silver sound, but would like to add Duelund vintage WE sound characteristic too, can select Ultimate Silver series
My Humble Comments: Xtreme series has strong WE sound characteristic and its sound balance, natural and neutral. True Silver Series has a sweet, delicate, powerful and fast dynamics sound, a typical modern Silver sound. Personally, Duelund/WE Series is always my favorite where sound more relax and musical to me. True Silver Series has a stronger tone, warmer with richer full body texture sound. In short, a classic vintage WE sound for Xtreme series and a modern silver sound for True Silver Series. To me, both the sounds are on par and are equally good, it is really depending on your system setup and your preferences and tastes. In another aspect, if your Hi-Fi system is based on tube amplifications, most likely you will prefer the Xtreme series, otherwise maybe you will pick Silver Series with Solid State system. I like the best part of Xtreme series is the musicality of sound and the best part of True Silver Series is the full body texture sound. Because of this reason, we created the mixture series of Xtreme Silver series and Ultimate Silver series.
Cable Run-In: Audiolund cables are mostly multi-core design with various combinations of wires. Thus, all Audiolund cables will require long time to run-in. OCC Silver wires are thick solid core wires, will take even longer time to burn-in than Duelund tinned copper multi-strands of parallel thin core wires. The general guideline for run-in time, estimated 100 – 200 hours.

I have been using the oil basked cloth rca duelund 16awg wire with duelund rca connectors for a while. That is actually what led me to audiolund! I purchased this cable not really sure what to expect in differences. The top end and bass is very very similar between the standard duelund and the xtreme audiolund. Midrange performance is profoundly better. Much better weight in the midrange and alot of macro details just really jump out of the mix.
The build quality is also extremely good. I am pretty picky and I definitely recommend this cable. Thanks

Took the plunge and went for the Pure Silver plugs, well worth it! Compared Signature vs Xtreme RCA, highly recommend the Xtreme series.
Took almost 2 weeks of continuous run-in to bring out the goodness of the cables, my patience paid off tremendously. If you know and enjoy Duelund cable signature, Audiolund cables are definitely for you, tonality and balance were spot-on in my system. As I understand, Danny’s cable recipes had gone through numerous iterations to arrive at where they are today. I use the True Silver series cables for all my digital, and Extreme Series for all my analogue needs. They are amazing once the cables started to settle in, just letting the music and emotions to flow through. Extreme Silver series will be next for me, hoping to taste the cherry on top of the cake with the selective use of OCC Silver cables. Truly artisanal products from an amazingly talented and humble craftsman.
Bought another 2M length of the Xtreme for use between pre and power amp. This cable is quiet and allows you to hear more details. At this price, I consider it to be very good value and I have cables costing 4 times more.
Give this cable a try, especially if you use a tube amp and lsten to jazz and vocals. It is worth using better connectors for this cable

Bought the Xtreme 1M for use with DAC to Pre Amp. Very quiet background which allows you to hear more of the music. Highs are smooth and the low end is very good. Vocals sound richer.
Overall, very good for the price. Considering this for my pre to power amp. Go for the better RCA plug. Worth the extra
