The HDMI I2S Cable Ultimate Silver Series defined the highest class of modern pure silver sounds with distinct beautiful sound. Ultimate Silver HDMI I2S cable series is based on True Silver Series I2S Cable where it is upgraded from single solid core of 24awg OCC Silver wire to 7 solid cores of (24GA+26GA+28GA+29GA+29GA+32GA+32A) of 5N OCC silver wires. Similarly, it has a sweet, delicate, powerful, fast dynamics sound and it also has a stronger tone, warmer with richer full body organic sound. The overall presentation is much better than the True Silver series HDMI cable.
Both the Ultimate Silver series HDMI I2S and True Silver series using the same 5N OCC Silver wires, and both have the same pure silver sound characteristics. The Ultimate Silver series has a slightly stronger tone, slightly better bass, slightly more refined and slightly fuller body sounds than True Silver Series because it uses more solid silver cores. However, this is for critical listening only, you will need to have high-end equipment to differentiate these two cables. Noted that Ultimate Silver series HDM I2S cable with 7* small solid cores wires will need an even longer period to burn-in. We believe that the Ultimate Silver series HDMI I2S/AV cable should be the ultimate design of HDMI I2S cable in the current market.
My humble comments: True Silver series HDMI I2S cable should be sufficient and good enough for most of the audiophile system. The Ultimate Silver series HDMI I2S cable is built with a better 5N OCC silver wires and specially designed for top high-end system, for audiophiles with top end system or for those who demand the best available HDMI I2S cable.
Please provide the I2S pinouts of your equipment and direction of cable. There are generally 2 definitions, A and B. Alternatively, please provide your equipment brand names, such streamer, Transport, DDC and DAC etc. and I could find it online.
A-Definition vs B-Definition:

I2S cable will work well, if I2S source to I2S playback device, both adhere to the same signal configuration. So, it would be better if you know the pin configuration of your CD/Transport/Streamer, as well as your DAC. If you match signal configuration correctly, the I2S Cable Ultimate Silver Series performs exceptionally well, well beyond expectations.
Note: Generally, HDMI I2S performs better than RJ45 I2S. If the I2S cable does not function properly in your system, it may be due to the wrong I2S pin layout. Customer could request for a full refund.
HDMI AV (HDMI 2.0):
For standard AV applications, it will be built as per standard HDMI Pinouts for general audio video. Noted that this HDMI AV supports HDMI 2.0/1.4/1.3 only. It could support the highest quality up to 4K of video resolution, with full 18Gbps bandwidth from the HDMI 2.0b specification. This HDMI AV 2.0 cable is not supported 8K resolution becasue 8K resolution will require a HDMI 2.1 plug.
HDMI Plug Orientations:
Please provide the orientation of HDMI plugs connected to equipment, so that the HDMI plug could be plugged in without twisting.
Example:
** HDMI plug is relatively weak and fragile due to its 19-pins PCA, please be careful when plug-in. Audiolund I2S cable is thick and heavy too. So, it may require cable support or wooden block below HDMI plug to support the weight. Highly recommended to use with cable support. **
1) Default: Red Copper Strip + White Strip on White Background (Better wear resistance for Red Copper and plastic strips)
2) Silver Foil + Transparent Strip on Black Background (Weak wear resistance for Silver Foil, handle with care)
Cable Run-In: Audiolund cables are mostly multi-core design with various combinations of wires. Thus, all Audiolund cables will require a long time to run in. OCC Silver wires are thick solid core wires, will take even longer time to run in than Duelund tinned copper multi-strands of parallel thin core wires. The general guideline for run-in time, estimated 100 – 200 hours. Flagship series will need to run in more hours.
Very good musical feel
Excellent cable. One of the best I have come across in terms of sound quality. Very natural sounding cable. Very high-end built quality and they use thick cable and connectors that makes the cable a little heavy. Service level support from the Audiolund team is amazing. I2s connection is non standard and Audiolund even get into the equipment details (to understand pin outs) and the position of the I2s/ HDMI sockets and tailor the cable for specific needs. They even provided support a year later – way beyond the warranty expiry.
