The option is to use 1) all OCC Silver wires or 2) to replace 2*15GA + 1*18GA of 5N OCC silver wires with 2*Duelund Silver foil V1, while still keeping other OCC silver wires and Duelund tinned copper wires.
With critical listening, if Duelund Silver foil added to the same cable series, the midrange seem to enhance and more apparent slightly, with slightly more focus and pleasant warmer vocals. On the other hand, all OCC silver wires series seem to have a slightly wider/depth soundstage, sounds more organics with slightly more details. However, note that the difference is very minor and not really significant as the midrange and soundstage for both versions are considered equally good to me.
Both versions are classified as the same series with Pure Silver wires (either OCC Silver or Duelund Silver foil) mixed with Duelund tinned copper wires. Both versions have similar sound characteristics and sound equally good to me with similar pure silver sounds mixed with Duelund Western Electric sound characteristics. The decision factor is only if you like slightly warmer midrange or prefer a slightly wider/depth soundstage.

Ultimate Silver Series will have the best of Xtreme series and True Silver Series with very comprehensive sound of the Xtreme series mixed with the sound characteristics of Western Electric. Similar to Xtreme Silver series, the sound is very natural and smooth with quiet background, and also very musical. It also has the sweet, delicate, powerful and fast dynamic silver sound of the True Silver series.
A simple term for the selection of top 5 series with different sound characteristics:
- If you like vintage Duelund Western Electric sound, can select Xtreme series
- If you like modern 5N pure silver sound, can select True Silver series
- If you like Duelund Western Electric sound, but would like to add pure silver sound characteristic too, can select Xtreme Silver series
- If you like 5N pure silver sound, but would like to add Duelund vintage WE sound characteristic too, can select Ultimate Silver series
- If you like both the Duelund Western Electric sound and the modern pure silver sound equally, can select Flagship series
Both the Ultimate Silver series and Xtreme Silver series, are designed to have both the sound characteristics of WE and modern pure silver sound characteristics. And, although we could notice the difference, both also have the sound characteristics of WE and pure silver. Therefore, both series could likely match well with most of the High-end system.
My humble comments: If you like both the WE sounds and the Pure Silver sounds, confidently, you can select either Xtreme Silver series or Ultimate Silver series. The Ultimate Silver series has very strong modern pure silver sound characteristics, however, with added Duelund tinned copper cables, it adds the musicality of WE, sounds become relatively softer and smoother. It is highly recommended.
Xtreme series has strong WE sound characteristics and its sound balance, natural and neutral. True Silver Series has a sweet, delicate, powerful and fast dynamics sound, a typical modern silver sound. Personally, Duelund/WE Series is always my favorite where sound more relaxed, detail and musical to me. True Silver Series has a stronger tone, slightly warmer with richer full body texture sound. In short, a classic vintage WE sound for Xtreme series and a modern silver sound for True Silver Series. To me, both the sounds are on par and are equally good, it really depending on your preferences and tastes. In another aspect, if your Hi-Fi system is based on tube amplifications, most likely you will prefer the Xtreme series, otherwise maybe you will pick the Silver Series with Solid State system. I like the best part of Xtreme series is the musicality of sound and the best part of True Silver Series is the full body organic sound. Becasue of this reason, we created the mixture series of Xtreme Silver series and Ultimate Silver series.
1) Default: Red Copper Strip + White Strip on White Background (Better wear resistance) – Recommended
2) Silver Foil + Transparent Strip on Black Background (Weak wear resistance for Silver Foil, handle with care)
Cable Run-In: Audiolund cables are mostly multi-core design with various combinations of wires. Thus, all Audiolund cables will require a long time to run in. OCC Silver wires are thick solid core wires, will take even longer time to run in than Duelund tinned copper multi-strands of parallel thin core wires. The general guideline for run-in time, estimated 100 – 200 hours.
I have tried power cables of some very well known brands but the Ultimate Silver Series Power Cord connected from the mains to my power conditioner made a profound difference in the following ways
– After running of about 250 hrs the cables came into their own.
– the Bass was fighter, articulate and nuanced.
– the human voice was cleaner. In the mids there was more continuity.
– the soundstage became wider and instrumental separation much better.
– the hights were cleaner and crisper without sounding harsh.
I would recommend that first you change the cable connecting the mains to your power distributor as it will effect the sound of the entire system. Much better and permanent than a component upgrade.
Looking forward to changing all other cables to Audiolund cables over time.

Here’s my assessment of installing another Audiolund Design Ultimate Silver Power Edition cable into my HiFi stereo system.
On the double vinyl of Haydn’s music, the orchestral presence is fantastic, as is the cello soloist.
On an accordion and guitar CD, the instruments possess a very rich timbre. I particularly notice that the high end is even better articulated and more precise.
On the double vinyl of Benny Goodman, the bass is superb with a very beautiful, fast and precise presence.
With Piazzola and the Violons du Roy, the three-dimensional aspect takes on its full meaning.
With Dutoit and Prokofiev, the violin’s inflections are much more pronounced. In loud passages, the music maintains excellent control.
The differentiation of the instruments is even more precise, and they have more body and tonic richness, and their spatial definition is very precise and remarkable.
With Schubert, the piano is very distinct and well separated from the singing voices. This latest AC cable delivers an incredible level of performance. The symphonic bass drum sounds three times larger and well controlled.
Beethoven’s Piano Sonata is luminous; the soundstage is vast in height, width, and depth.
With the Ultimate Silver Power Edition plugged into the wall, I noticed a “Blaker Back Ground” and the piano notes were extremely precise in both the bass and treble.
Danny’s advice is most judicious. Danny is attentive to our needs, and the delivery service is fast.
Once again, adding an Audiolund Design cable to my HiFi stereo system allows the music to express itself in an incredible way. I wondered how listening to my music could be even better, and yes, the listening quality is truly enhanced; I didn’t expect such impactful results. I’ve been able to witness the musical evolution with each addition of a cable created by Danny, this highly talented hi-fi audio connector specialist.
The Audiolund Design cables have, and will provided me with several minutes of pure musical bliss.
Note, that it’s important to let them mature for a few hours to fully unfold their exceptional qualities.

Adding the “Power Edition Ultimate Silver” gives even more soundstage, precision and easy extracting the music.
You will be very surprised to see how the addition of Audiolund Design cables will bring a new musical dimension to your favorite music.
With the Power Edition Ultimate Silver, it is disconcerting to see how the musical realism is increased to another level, as if a 3D dimension is added to a presence that was already palpable. It is quite incredible the improvements that the latter brings.
It is always fascinating to see that with each addition of an Audiolund Design cable the increase in the performance of my sound system.
By giving a superb presence to the percussions, details and musical depth, it is a Must. They offer one of the most beautiful musical presences, because everything stands out equally, without forcing, the violins have such a presence and this, even in very soft passages, because everything stands out easily with richness and in a superb balance. The percussions, like bells are so real.

At first, my first test with the Ultimate Silver Power Edition turned out, as a best result, installed on my Audiolab CDT 6000, which I would never have thought that this combination would be the best.
After a few weeks, I decided to install it in the very place for which it was designed, that is to say on my Power Bar. And there wow! Much more musical refinement, a better soundstage, a beautiful well-centered depth and a more marked stereo effect.
Once again, here I can distinguish new percussion instruments, previously hidden. The palette of the timbres of the instruments is even richer, the musical balance of the instruments is increased, each instrument is well in its place, their presences more distinct by being more precise and cut.
As for the bass, it is not too invasive, it harmonizes very well with the other instruments without overwhelming them, and it goes even lower and with great clarity.
As you mentioned, the Ultimate Silver Power Edition needed a longer break-in period.

Following the addition of a new Ultimate Silver power cord, the sound refinement and great musicality are what impresses. The discovery of an extraordinary sound atmosphere, and the musical details that are recorded that light up and are highlighted with great ease, the micro-information is easier to bring out.
The timbres are even richer, and the bass more present, well chiseled and descends deeper and with greater control.
The stereo separation is more marked, and the sound depth allows us to discover a most remarkable musical facet.
The combination of refinement, dynamism and precision offers a most convincing listening experience, and with a greater sound openness, due to the musical transparency that has really increased, transmitting more mystery and emotions. As a music lover, I have been intensively involved with the HiFi topic for 33 years.
On this trip I tried out a lot of cables, some of which were excellent and extremely expensive, in order to optimize my system.
I discovered Audiolund by chance and tried them out: These Audiolund cables are the most balanced in my system so far, they can easily hold their own against all other products on the cable market that are many times more expensive (with dubious prices!).
The entire cabling of my HiFi system now consists almost exclusively of the Extreme Silver and Ultimate Silver Series and I am more than very happy with it.

I ordered one power cable 1.5 m Ultimate Series with Duelund Silver Foil and Viborg VE504Ag/VF504Ag pure silver schuko/IEC plugs Special Edition to connect to my power distributor and now there is clearer, great soundstage, perfect detail and musicality and with more working hours it still will sound better.
